Mark Knapp joined Pdc Glass - UGC as a direct factory Territory Manager covering the state of New York. In his role, he will be focusing on promoting and servicing the glazing and architectural community. Knapp delivers over 25 years of sales and business experience to the organization, spending the last 7 years with YKK AP.
Tom Belmont is the newest member of United Glass Corporation's direct sales team covering Kentucky, Western Ohio, and Central / Southern Indiana. In this role, Tom will be promoting the products and services for TGI, Pdc Michigan, Pdc Aluminum, and Mid Ohio Tempering. Belmont brings over 28 years of industry experience to UGC, including roles in estimating, project management, project engineering, and outside sales.

The Glass Association of North America's (GANA) Building Envelope Contractors (BEC) Division announced that Doug Penn of United Glass Corporation is the new chairman of its Technical Committee. Doug Penn is UGC's National Architectural Products Manager. The BEC Technical Committee has been responsible for several projects over the past five years, including the GANA Project Managers Reference Manual, as well as development of informational bulletins about shop drawings and more.
With over 22 years of glass and related experience, Steve Borth has joined Pdc Glass in Cheswick, PA as a Business Analyst. Prior to joining the organization, Borth spent time with OldCastle as an Assistant General Manager and General Manager. Most recently, Steve was an Operations Consultant for General Glass International in New Jersey.

Dickey Clinton joined Pdc Glass in the role of President. In this position, Mr. Clinton will be responsible for all facets of the organization at both the Cheswick, PA and Plymouth, MI locations. Dickey brings over 30 years of total industry experience to United Glass Corporation.

Mike DuCap was recently hired at UGC’s Plymouth, Michigan location as the Plant Manager. Mike started his glass industry career in 1984 and has held numerous positions over the past 25 years, including Plant Superintendent, Production Manager, Quality Control Manager, and Plant Manager. Prior to joining Pdc Glass of Michigan, DuCap spent the last eight years with the OldCastle organization.

Carl Edwards was recently hired by UGC in the role of Operations Manager at Mid-Ohio Tempering. Carl brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in the industry as he was employed by YKK AP and Kawneer.

Douglas D. Penn joined UGC in the newly created role of National Architectural Products Manager. In this position, Mr. Penn will be responsible for the promotion and management of UGC brand and target products. Doug has over 25 years of industry experience with YKK AP and PPG Industries.

Effective October 1, 2007, David Bartley is announced as the Chief Operating Officer of United Glass Corporation, while retaining his current duties as Chief Financial Officer for the corporation. In this role, David will be instrumental in implementing UGC's business plan while focusing on the organization's individual plants and operations. Mr. Bartley is also a member of the Board of Directors of United Glass Corporation.

Dan Nichols was recently hired by UGC in the role of Operational Manager at our Pdc Michigan location. Dan brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in the glass industry as he was employed by both PPG Industries and Guardian Industries.

Ned Burns is the newest addition to the sales team at UGC. Ned will be covering Maryland and Northern Virginia territories and brings 13+ years of industry experience to the organization.
